We received a Golden Retriever puppy 2.5 years ago when my daughter was newly diagnosed with lupus.We had such a wonderful experience working with them.They're wonderful people who truly care about the dogs they breed. We couldn't be more happy with Honey, our Golden.We believe that she was absolutely instrumental in our daughter healing. In the beginning , I consulted with Margareth multiply times about issues that I was unsure of as I had never been a dog owner. She was always available to answer my questions. We love her so much. We adopted our last dog 12 years ago right before my husband started his law enforcement career. I don’t think we realized at the time how much happiness Gus brought after a long day at work but when we lost him to cancer at 10 years old, there was a HUGE hole in all of our hearts and it definitely hit my husband the hardest. Gus was his boy. After a few months of healing, we started talking about getting a puppy but we now have 3 kiddos and a few different allergies in the household so our options were limited. I learned about doodles and since the golden retriever was one of my all time favorite dogs, a golden doodle seemed like a perfect choice. I started looking into the breed and I quickly learned that we were not going to be able to afford a golden doodle on our single income any time soon. Knowing how important the breeder's role is, I decided to research a few nearby so we would at least know where to go when we were ready. I had sent out quite a few emails before I found California Golden Love but after one conversation with Margareth, I knew we wanted to be a part of the CA Golden Love family. She was so kind a knowledgable and instantly made us feel welcome. She answered ALL of my questions, no matter how silly and it was instantly obvious how much she cared for her pups. When I first emailed her, I wasn’t even aware of their giving back to the community program but once Margareth learned we were a law enforcement family, she was more than happy to introduce us to the program and explain how it worked. Because of California Golden Love and their amazing program, we were able to bring home our boy, Hank, on July 26th and we could not be happier. He has truly brought us so much JOY and helped fill that hole in our hearts in the most perfect way. We can never say thank you enough for the opportunity that California Golden Love gave us. We are so happy to be a part of their family and we tell everyone we know how amazing they are. We plan on getting Hank a friend someday and I can guarantee you this, it will be another sweet pup from California Golden Love

He has been so important to my daughters recovery.. her support puppy.. and he has healed out sadness about losing our Alex.. and brought so much love and joy and laughter into our lives.. and it all started with you and the beautiful start you gave him. He’s doing so well and such a good boy.. he’s such a love.. sweet and perfect in every way.. even when he’s chewing sticks on my freshly vacuumed rug.. it’s hard to be annoyed with him!!! He’s been such a beautiful blessing in our lives.. and our cats and he are best friends.. they follow each other around and play.. it’s the cutest thing ever!!! We could not have imagined our new fur baby to be as beautiful as our Skye is .. our lives are so blessed

She's settling in well and discovering new smells. She's so mellow! We took her to a puppy kindergarten social class and she loves meeting new dogs and new people. you and her mother raised her well. She's very popular our neighborhood.

Dasher is SO good. I bought him a grass patch and he poop and pee there. He did so good all night slept most of the night and woke up at 5:15am to go potty.He's turning so handsome by the day.Thank youuuu sooo much for our boy.

We can't thank you enough for our Wonderfull Mikey. He's such a sweet, happy, gentle, loving, smart, good boy. He loves his brother, his toys, his food & us. He's doing really well with his potty training , he got in and out of the doggy door, sleep all night with his brother & has adapted to life at our house without a hitch. We love him so much.
